Part of the core values of FIRST robotics is to inspire others to learn about science and technology (indeed, FIRST stands for “For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”). That is why the Iron Patriots take great pride in showing and teaching the community about robotics, STEM, and the FIRST organization. Whether this is through a simple visit to an elementary school science fair or a collaboration with the Renton city to motivate at-risk youth to join robotics, the Iron Patriots strive to #bringSTEM2them.
